Entrepreneur, writer, loyal citizen.
By day I work to add value to my clients’ projects (and provide devastating critiques of Boston sports fans, which is admittedly difficult these days). By night I explore through the written word, ride motorcycles, and generally howl at the moon.
I’m really good at helping my customers translate their vision into tangible products and organizing and managing execution. Let me know if you need help.

Here’s my (professional) story:
I recently left corporate life to pursue freelance web design and development full time, a skill I’ve had for some time but I’d never considered making a living at it.
My previous gig for the past 5 years was with the Capital Group managing IT business operations and generally becoming familiar with the forces shaping the Financial Services industry as it continues to evolve after the 2008-09 financial crisis. CG’s perspective is interesting as they are all-in on the value of active management in the passive investing era. I also worked in the Distribution group as a strategic business project manager, as well as helping to manage the product strategy for American Funds Insurance Series funds. I grew very familiar with the sales, marketing, investment operations, and technology groups and how they are responding to the economic forces shaping the industry.
Before joining the Capital Group I worked as a Department of Defense contractor with General Dynamics. Our team was hired in 2003 to implement a content management system at the Los Angeles Air Force Base. I was responsible for working with the various Air Force Program Offices, particularly the Global Positioning System directorate, to help automate their business processes. I became expert at translating business needs into technology solutions. As the Technical Project Manager & Team Lead and it was my honor to work with some of the brightest engineers I’ve ever met. I was also fortunate enough to work with teams from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the Aerospace Corporation, which was a thrill.
Prior to General Dynamics I worked in technology start-ups. I spent a few years as a Sales Executive helping to establish portal software at colleges and universities with Campus Pipeline (now Ellucian), and before that was a Country Director for Asia & South America for SynchroNet Marine. SynchroNet helps shipping companies find equipment where they need it fast and efficiently.
